Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) stated that although Ethiopia was not colonized and had a great victory, when foreign leaders came to our country, there was not enough place to lay wreaths. He pointed out that huge projects such as the Adwa Victory Memorial and the renovated palaces filled this historical gap and changed the face of Ethiopia. The Prime Minister emphasized that these development works, beyond attracting tourism, have a great role in making the generation aware of the country's identity and proud of being Ethiopian and building a sense of patriotism. Mentioning that Addis Ababa should have its own international labels like New York, Paris and Rio de Janeiro, he pointed out that the works done in Ontoto and Yeka will make the city the owner of international tourist attractions like "Hollywood". He also stated that this work of modernizing the city aims to show the glorious history of Ethiopia in a way that suits the world.
