This morning we observed the construction process of road projects of great importance in our city. In general, the roads we observed cover a length of 8.9 km, and they are the constructions of the bus line-Salemiya-18 roundabout and Air Health-Kara Wolete asphalt road. Bus line - Salimiya - 18 turn is a new asphalt road, 3.3 kilometers long, with a total of 6 lanes on the left and right, wide footpath and telecom, electricity, water and drainage infrastructure with an underground passage (underpass), a 60 meter wide overpass will be built on the 18 square. It is also a project that includes the expansion and improvement of the existing ring road along the Army Line. Another thing we have seen is the construction of the Air Health-Kara Wolete Asphalt Road, which is 5.6 kilometers long and connects the city with the road leading to Jimma and Hossaina. These projects used to be a source of public complaints due to their delays in terms of their scheduled entry times. Although the main cause of complaint was the problem of boundary enforcement, currently, great efforts are being made to solve this problem and complete the projects in a short time. These road projects will be built to the standard of corridor development in the city, and include other additional infrastructures, and our monitoring will continue to be strengthened so that they are completed quickly and ready for use. Currently, a total of 140 road projects are under construction in our city, of which 104 are being built by the city's road authority and the rest are being built by private contractors.
