This morning we observed the construction process of road projects of great importance in our city. In total, the roads we observed are 8.9 km in length, and the bus route - Salamiya - 18 turnpike and Air Health - Kara Wolete are asphalt road constructions. Bus Route - Salimiya - 18 Turn A new asphalt road with a length of 3.3 kilometers, with a total of 6 lanes on the left and right, wide footpaths and infrastructure for telecom, electricity, water and drainage, with an underground passage (Underpass), and a 60-meter wide overpass will be built on the 18 square. It is also a project that includes the expansion and improvement of the existing ring road along the Army Line. Another thing we looked at was the construction of the Air Health-Kara Wolete Asphalt Road, which is 5.6 kilometers long and connects the city to the road leading to Jimma and Hosaina, which is very important in making travel more efficient. These projects have been the source of public complaints due to their delays in terms of the scheduled construction time. Although the main cause of complaint was the problem of boundary enforcement, currently, great efforts are being made to solve this problem and complete the projects in a short time. The projects will build corridor development standards in the city, and include other additional infrastructure as well. Our monitoring will continue to be strengthened so that they are completed quickly and ready for service. Currently, a total of 140 road projects are under construction in our city, of which 104 are being built by the city's road authority and the rest are being built by private contractors.
